We represented Greenstar Holdings Ltd. at an Oral Hearing to overturn a Local Authority decision to refuse planning permission for a strategically significant residual landfill to operate at an historic landfill site in Usk, Co. Kildare. The Local Authority had previously cited traffic hazard arising from reduced sightlines at the development access as a basis for refusing permission. We successfully demonstrated within our appeal that sightlines should be based on the design speed and not the speed limit; and this contributed to the Board overturning the original decision.
